She fully embodies the values of Madeira Athletics and we are so proud of all of her accomplishments. More than that, she is an incredible person and has made such a large impact in her two short years at Madeira. She has a relentless work ethic and is constantly pushing to better herself and her teammates. Since her arrival, Godes has been a member of the Madeira Soccer team and most recently served as the co-captain of the Madeira Lacrosse team.Īssistant Director of Athletics and Head Lacrosse Coach Kelly Chandler shares her excitement for Godes in saying, “Bella is everything you want out of a player. Godes came to Madeira as a junior day student from Bethesda, Maryland. This fall, Godes will attend Scripps College, a member of the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS) athletic system. Family, friends, coaches, and members of the Madeira community gathered on April 11 to congratulate senior Bella Godes on her commitment to play lacrosse at the collegiate level.
